Encore parties

Week-long spending events: what the coins buy, how far you can get for free, and what each round costs.

Encore parties are week-long limited events. You perform daily tasks to earn encore coins, spend those at a mini gacha for event currency and rare rewards, and spend what that gives you in the event shop. Rewards range from skins to UR shards.

They are currently the best way to meaningfully ascend souls from previous ranking events, but they are expensive, and not only in crystals: the later rounds require real money. Not all encores are equal either. One may give 150 shards of a ranking UR; another a skin and a collection R/SR.

F2P

New players and F2P: encores are spending-focused events, but you can still get great rewards from them. The [f2p] notes exist to save you money and get you the most value possible, the guide asks that you read every one of them even if you ignore everything else.

Encore coins do not carry over. Anything you do not spend before the event ends is lost. Tickets are lost in the conversion to party tokens too, so convert only at the very end, and convert tokens back only as far as the purchase you are making.

$181Good if you missed a few tasks.
$2131Same idea as the $1 pack.
$5133Only to top up a round you are just short of, and only after the cheaper packs.
$15505Very good, the pack to buy if you are spending at all.
$501503Overshoots the $47 minimum, but carries extra rewards beyond the coins.

The guide’s recommendation: $47

The $2 pack plus 3× $15 packs, alongside the rebate. Exactly one coin more than round 10 needs, assuming you complete every daily task.

5$1Rebate rewards, or the $1 pack.
6$8Rebate rewards, the $1 and $2 packs, and one $5 pack.
7$15One $15 pack and rebate rewards.
8$23One $15 pack, one $5 pack, the $2 and $1 packs, and rebate.
9$37Two $15 packs, one $5 pack, the $2 pack and rebate. For $33 the $5 pack can be swapped for the $1 pack, which lands one coin short.
10$47Three $15 packs, the $2 pack and rebate.

Rebate rewards cost $10.

  • When a Gate of Trials runs alongside an encore, this is among the cheapest ways to get UR tickets, and it offsets the crystal cost, so you keep saving for the Gate while clearing the 200-crystal daily task.
  • Spend 200 crystals on gate tickets for the three days the Gate is available.
  • On the other days, spend 140 crystals on stamina in the shop, then the remaining 70 through the “+” on the stamina bar.
  • Spend as much as possible on the stamina bar, then whatever else it takes to reach 200.
  • Buy UR tickets from the shop once you can afford them.
  • Why it works: stamina and gate tickets both feed a Gate of Trials, so buying them is already saving for one. At stage 6 an artifact energy costs 12 crystals and a ticket averages 3 energy, so any UR ticket under 36 crystals beats buying gate tickets outright, and as a by-product of spending you would do anyway, they come out at roughly 19.5 crystals each.
  • In short: easy artifact energy if you are saving for a Gate. Just do it.
  • Exclusive items are mostly out of reach without spending, 47 to 57 is the ceiling, so F2P are mostly restricted to ticket purchases.
  • The two worth having are mirror images and, especially, UR challenge tickets. Both are uncommon and valuable, and UR challenge tickets are cheaper here than almost anywhere else, but only when a Gate of Trials is running.
  • Otherwise convert exclusive items into tickets: you are unlikely to have enough of them for anything good.
  • Round 10 at the very most. Rounds 11 and beyond repeat the same rewards, extra exclusive items and tickets.
  • Encores almost always run alongside a money rebate worth 16 coins, which brings the cost of reaching round 10 down to $47.
  • The URs on offer change from encore to encore, and many are of little use now. Check the Food Soul Guide before committing, spending is rarely worth it unless you already have the unit built and want another ascension level.
  • With monthlies you can run the crystal strategy above even without a Gate of Trials, since you can spend fully on the stamina bar once the three monthly stamina purchases are used up.
